Marketplace Guidelines

Submission requirements, content policies, and the review process for getting your listing approved and published.

What can you publish?

  • Agents — custom AI assistants with system prompts, knowledge bases, and tool configurations
  • Integrations — action connectors that agents can invoke (REST APIs, databases, SaaS tools)
  • Knowledge packs — curated document collections for domain-specific RAG (e.g. legal templates, medical references)

Submission requirements

Every listing must meet these requirements before it can be submitted for review:

Content policies

  • No illegal content, hate speech, harassment, or adult content
  • No misleading functionality — your listing must do what it says
  • No data exfiltration — integrations may not send user data to unauthorized endpoints
  • No credential harvesting — you may not prompt users for passwords or sensitive data outside of the designated secrets fields
  • No spam or duplicate listings — substantially identical listings will be rejected
  • Respect intellectual property — do not impersonate brands or use third-party trademarks without authorization

Review process

  1. 1Submit for review — click 'Submit for review' in your publisher dashboard. Automated checks run within seconds.
  2. 2Automated checks — Akili verifies all required fields, validates image dimensions, runs a basic content filter, and confirms any attached resources are working.
  3. 3Manual review — a marketplace reviewer examines your listing within 1 business day. They test the agent or integration functionality and verify it matches the description.
  4. 4Decision — you receive an email. If approved, your listing is published immediately. If rejected, the reason is shown in your dashboard — fix the issues and resubmit.
  5. 5Updates — published listings can be updated. Minor updates (description, screenshots) go through automated checks only. Major updates (system prompt changes, new integrations) may trigger manual review.

Pricing

  • Free listings — no payment setup required; anyone can install
  • Paid listings (Pro publisher required) — set a monthly subscription price; Akili takes a 20% platform fee by default (configurable by your administrator via STRIPE_PLATFORM_FEE_PERCENT)
  • Payouts — paid earnings are distributed to your Stripe Connect account on the 1st of each month
  • Refunds — users who cancel within 24 hours of subscribing receive a full refund
Note: Only verified publishers (at least one published listing with a 4.0+ rating) can publish paid listings.

Reporting and appeals

Users can report listings for violating content policies. If your listing receives 3 or more reports, it is automatically suspended pending admin review. To appeal a suspension or rejection, contact your Akili administrator with your listing ID and a description of the issue.
